Carli Fine Art Conservation (CFAC) provides conservation and restoration  for historic, modern and contemporary art objects, archaeological and ethnographic artifacts, outdoor sculpture and monuments.  We address all damage, deterioration and appearance issues resulting from inherent material properties, accidents, storage conditions and previous repairs.

We advise on mount design and fabrication, installation, display and storage methods to provide the best environment for the preservation of artwork.  We offer phased conservation planning, identifying the degree of conservation need and long-term planning to provide future maintenance and care within the constraints of available resources.

Carli Fine Art Conservation's consultations, proposals and treatments adhere to the Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice of the American Institute for Conservation.

CFAC assesses the condition of objects and collections and provides expertise in preservation management. We treat individual artifacts and collections as a whole, are committed to education and public outreach, undertake historic and scientific research and keep up with new conservation technologies. In these endeavors we regularly collaborate with artists, curators, archaeologists, art historians and scientists to maximize the understanding of the art and artifacts with which we work.
